Love Hello Kitty? Love Noir cosmetics? Well honey are you sitting down because I'm about to tell you that Sephora has an amazing Hello Kitty beauty line. If you fell out, then sorry for that but I told ya to sit down lol!
Thank God Sephora is pretty much everywhere because the amazing Hello Kitty beauty line is exclusive to them.

A have my eye on a few new items. One of them is the Shimmering Powder and Eyeshadow Palette. Looks like a nice pallet and since it Noir cosmetics I'm sure its pigmented well.
Another new Item that I really want is the Noir 5-Piece Brush Set - Black

Lastly anther Item that looks like a must have is the Hello Kitty Intense Perfume.
This perfume is described to have rich floral accords and a wink of warm vanilla. Oh and a little hint of musk is present in the base notes...Smells I mean sounds lovely!

Neutral eyeshadow: My favorite #3

This is for all beauties who like to keep it simple and neutral. I'm about to tell ya what I believe to be the best neutral eyeshadow palettes out there.
First I'm going to start of with Urban Decay Naked.
This palette is loved by many including ME! Its pretty pricey as it sells for $48, however it remains to be Urban Decay's best seller!
The next Neutral pallet called Nude on Nude is only $25, and it even comes with 10 lip colors. This is by NYX one of my favs!!!
Lastly here is another fav that I just started using in the beginning of last summer. This is the 28 Color Neutral palette from BH Cosmetics. Its only $18...sweet deal and the colors are not powdery the are pretty pigmented if ya ask me! I LIKE!

Do you have a pimple or two? Well don't worry jus dab some toothpaste on it....YES, I said toothpaste!

Toothpaste does wonders for your acne because it kills germs meant for teeth. When u put toothpaste on a pimple it drys it out and kills the germs.

Apply the toothpaste on your zit, for 15-20 minutes and wash it off. Or you can leave it on overnight, let a small piece of tissue cover the area you applied toothpaste too before going to sleep. Leaving the toothpaste on overnight seems to be most effective.

If you are a frequent reader of my beauty blog, then you know how I feel about blush.....its a MUST!!!! Blush always gives a gorgeous look. So I'm about to tell ya what I believe to be #4 must have blush.NARS has some great blush colors! Designed to be worn alone or layered together for more depth, NARS Blush provides a healthy glow to flatter any skintone. Oh and I cant forget to mention NARS Blush is an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner.

NYX is a favorite of mine. Its less expensive and does the job. NYX pressed powder blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on, blends beautifully and creates a natural glow. The formula is richly-pigmented and lasts for hours.
When I first begin to be interested in blush, I went straight to Macy and got me some blush by Lancome. To my surprise Lancome did not disappoint...I love it. Color stays true for hours and never looks dry or dull, thanks to moisture-balancing ingredients that keep skin feeling completely comfortable. Oil-free and oil-absorbing.
Avon has what the call smooth mineral blush and I am a fan! It goes on silky and smooth leaving a pretty glow. Its light and highly pigmented. Avon has done good in the blush department if ya ask me!

Sometimes we don't always have the luxuries or time to get our nails done professionally. So this quick beauty is to inform you on a fast way to get your nails dry when we are doing them at home. Who has time to keep blowing them to only get smudged nails as a end result.

It's pretty easy and simple, after painting your nails submerge your fingers in a bowl with cold water with ice cubes. Keep them in for as long as you can stand. After that you should have little or NO time left for your nails to dry.

Well first let me start off by saying what I Belive to be a definite rule in the world of beauty....YOUR LIPS SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE SOMTHING ON THEM!

Why?? Some say eyes is the immediate attention getter, but honey lips can be too! We all know dry crusty lips is NOT attractive! LOL!

If you are not into color or glossy lips then plain lips is fine but just at least keep them moisterized with caremax, chapstick, Vasaline or somthing of that kind.

Ok, yall I've already told you what you need for moisterized plain lips, so here is what you might want to go out and get of you want to step your lip game up....Lip pencils, lip stick or/and lip gloss. In my opinion you don't need a lip brush if you are just applying it on your self.

As for me I'm a lipstick type of girl. Lipstick comes in.......
-Matte
-Cream
-Sheer
-Metallic
-Iridescent

As for clear lipgloss, its simple and very effective. Clear Lipgloss should be a must have for your personal make-up bag! Clear Lipgloss can be worn over Matte lipstick for that added glossy look.

Lip pencils or lip liners as some may call them can be used to define or create the structure of your lips. For those who want to achieve a pouted lip can create one with a liner going slightly out side of your lips. Want smaller lips go slightly inside. If done right a lip liner can be very useful.

Let's get into the nitty gritty of MINERAL make-up. I'm pretty sure you wanna know why lots of women are flocking to stores to buy it.




The reason why mineral make-up is a hot topic in the beauty world is mainly because it does not contain the emollient oils and waxes, fragrance, and preservative ingredients found in conventional make-up. Another advantage is that most mineral make-up is preservative and fragrance free, which means less irritation to the face.



If you are all into being green then wait just a second before start running to the make-up counter. Make sure you read the labels because if the label reads "mineral-enriched" or if the formulation is liquid or mousse; these products may contain ingredients such as paraben preservatives or dimethicone added for a smooth texture. Nonpowders might also contain moisturizers, antioxidant vitamins, or other ingredients that your skin can use, so it's up to you to weigh the benefits against your needs.



What I keep hearing is that mineral foundation can clear Up acne. However my research says otherwise, a article on Web MD states "it's unlikely that mineral makeup will clear up pimples, which can be caused by many factors, including hormonal fluctuations. The anti-irritating ingredients in it, such as zinc, can be soothing to inflammation, but it's not likely a cure-all, she adds." So basically it will not clear acne up, but it wont make it worse either.

How to clean ur cosmetic brushes

Q: Moni, how do I clean my makeup brushes???


As you already know, anything you use on your face should be clean. If you are constantly having breakouts, unclean brushes may be the cause??? So I'm gonna give you few tips on how to clean your brushes.


A: Olive Oil is great when it come to removing make-up from your brushes. So gently stroke each brush with a little olive oil, while massaging the tips with your fingers. Then you can take some Johnsons & Johnsons Baby wash (Gentle Treatment) to cleanse them. Make sure you keep your brushed in a downward position so the water and suz wont effect the brush adhesive holding it together.


If all the above is too much work then honey just get you some good ol brush cleaner. I love M.A.C. brush cleanser its reallly effective!

Gosh Natasha Poly who stars on one of the six i-D Pre-Fall 2011 covers lensed by Willy Vanderperre is rocking a cute winged eye. Do you want the PERFECT eyeliner then if you ask me ditch the pencil and go liquid honey! Liquid liner is better because it goes on ultra smooth and looks much neater. It also makes a winged eye more achievable!





Oh and make sure you get water-proof liquid liner...as we all know drooling eyes is not cute!




Personally I love Avon liquid liner but M.A.C. has what the call fluidline which is also good. Urban Decay has what they call 24/7 liquid liner that is simply everlasting! Or you can just go to your local drug store and get covergirl, Almay, or maybelline liquid liners because they are all awesome as well!
